Many banjo licks have become cliches. This is the probably the biggest cliche of them all. Learn how to play the classic G lick - you will be playing it a lot in your banjo playing career!

Here are four useful licks to play over a bar of G. They use a combination of slides and pull offs as ornamentation. The pull off is explained in detail. It is also included in the video.
